Overview: 

The Wes Anderson Short Competition comes in anticipation of this Year's OAW - City of Play: Fun in the Capital?  

We want to see the integration of play in Ottawa's urban fabric. So go explore and show us some loved spaces across the city and create a playful short!  

The competition is open for public submissions (created/posted this September 2023), featuring Cash prizes and some Wes Anderson swag! Shorts will be showcased during Ottawa Architecture Week with the announcement of the Winners. 

Submission Format: 

• Reels must be a total length of 15-30 seconds 

• Formatted to the Wes Anderson trend 

• Reels must include a score from a Wes Anderson film 

How to submit:  

• Tag our Instagram account OAWfest in your post  

• Use hashtags #dayofplay #wesanderson #OAW  #Ottawaarchitecture 

Prizes: 

The Ottawa Regional Society of Architects (ORSA) is the biggest supporter and contributor to Ottawa Architecture Week. To encourage ORSA membership, an increased prize amount will be given to winning participants that are part of the ORSA membership. 

1st place - $200 prize for ORSA members / $150 prize for non ORSA members 

2nd place - $150 prize for ORSA members/ $100 for non ORSA members

People's choice - $150 prize for ORSA members / $100 for non ORSA members + Wes Anderson swag
