OAW wishes to acknowledge Astley Gilbert for supporting printing needs during Ottawa Architecture Week 2023.

Our Story

Yes, there was an Astley and a Gilbert. The founders took their middle names and opened for business in 1970. Astley Gilbert Limited started by serving the document needs of the construction industry. Wayne Wilbur joined AG in 1983 and became a minority owner in 1987. He began reshaping the company to meet the changing needs of business and gained full ownership of AG in 2006. Over the years, we’ve grown to be a full service print and online solutions provider to Canadian businesses.

In 2013, AG acquired Wadetech – a company with deep roots in the AEC sector. With major investments in technology and through strategic acquisitions. Today AG’s 340 plus employees serve customers in 14 locations in Ontario and British Columbia with an extensive menu of products and services.

In 2020 we celebrated 50 years in business – a testimony to our people and our clients who entrust their business to AG.
