Tour Leaders: Gabrielle Fayant and Muskwa Lee
Meeting point: Peter Bryce’s plaque at Spark St. and Elgin St. @ 12:00 noon.
The Reconciling History Walking Tour is usually 2 hours in length, beginning on Sparks St. and concluding at Adaawewigamig in the ByWard Market. Each point of interest along the route is an opportunity to learn about the role of non-Indigenous peoples and the federal government in residential schools, and the lessons we can glean from history to address contemporary injustices experienced by Indigenous peoples.
