Welcome to the Ottawa Architecture Week cardboard construction workshop where young Architects and dreamers come together to create an imaginative city that's all about fun, excitement, and limitless possibilities! Get ready to let your imagination run wild as we collaborate to construct a city landscape that reflects the theme of PLAY! Ages 7-12

Workshop Highlights:
1. City Planning and Design: We'll start by brainstorming and sketching out our ideas for this dream city. Think of roller coaster roads, candy houses, and even rainbow bridges! Everyone's ideas are important, and we'll work together to plan our city's layout.
2. Material Gathering: Time to collect the materials we need to bring our city to life! We'll have cardboard available. as well as some color construction paper, and some paint. If you have some materials you'd like to incorporate, feel free to bring them along to add a personal touch!
3. Collaborative Construction: As a team, we'll begin building our fantastical city. From constructing towering skyscrapers to crafting whimsical parks, every participant will have a role in turning our ideas into reality.
4. Adding the Fun Elements: Let your imagination take the lead as we add fun features to our city. How about a bouncy trampoline square or a slide that connects buildings? It's all about infusing joy and laughter into every corner.
5. Sharing and Presenting: At the end of our creative journey, we'll gather to share our amazing cityscape. Each participant will have a chance to talk about their contributions and why they believe their additions make the city the ultimate fun destination.
6. Video flythrough: We'll wrap up our workshop with a video flythrough of our collaborative masterpiece. The video will be projected during Ottawa Architecture Week: Sept. 25-29th 2023
Things to Remember:
· Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy.
· Bring your favourite ideas and a big imagination!
· Most importantly, come prepared to have a blast while building a city that's all about fun.
· Join us for a workshop filled with creativity, teamwork, and the joy of building something truly special.
