Join us for an afternoon of sketching at Ottawa’s historic ByWard Market—one of the city’s most vibrant and colorful neighborhoods. From lively market stalls and flower vendors to heritage façades and café corners, there’s endless inspiration for your sketchbook. 

We’ll meet at  at the “Ottawa” sign at 4.00pm. After a short welcome, we’ll spread out through the market to capture its energy from our own perspectives. 

In true Urban Sketchers spirit, all skill levels are welcome—just bring your pens, pencils, or watercolors and enjoy drawing the city from life. At the end, we’ll regroup at Ottawa Sign for a “sketch throwdown” to share our work. 

Please bring your drawing supplies.  

Sketches from this tour will be displayed during the OAW Vernissage Night on October 3—a chance to showcase and celebrate your work with the community!
