Velvet Wells (The Velvet Duke) is a beloved and internationally acclaimed musical comedian and puppeteer. They've shared their decades of experience as a performer, emcee, corporate events manager, and facilitator, in Toronto, Ottawa, and at events and festivals around the world.In Ottawa, in addition to being your emcee for the OAW Talks for the last two years, they hosted public events for Propeller Dance, Dangerous Curves Burlesque, the Ottawa Improv Festival, and Ottawa Fringe Festival.Velvet is excited to share their tips and tricks for public engagement, while leading exercises to build your public speaking courage and refine your delivery
